Loving Our Children
We believe children are a vital part of our ministry and community and that the life-long journey of faith begins and ends with the gospel. This means that children can comprehend the good news about Jesus' life, death, and resurrection (and ... consequently ... it is impossible for adults to ever "graduate" from that truth into something greater or deeper). We therefore build our children's ministry the same way we do our adult ministries ... centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ, and with his mission to the world as the central command. We are proud to use curriculum that strives to do exactly this. Children Desiring God curriculum aims to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We also use the Jesus Storybook Bible curriculum, which paints a beautiful portrait of Jesus and invites children to see that he is not only at the center of God’s great story of redemption—he is at the center of their story too.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” -John 15:5
