We want you to find rest in the finished work of Jesus at worship.  Rather than be exhausted by more things to "do for God," we hope you experience how much God the Father loves you and radically pursues you.

BEFORE THE SERVICE

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

We have a number of spaces in our parking lot, including 8 handicap stalls. However, you are also welcome to park next door at Barnes Elementary if the Trinity lot is full. If you should need to go next door to find parking, you are always welcome to drop your family off under the portecochere before you park next door or further out in our parking lot.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you are.  You don’t need to clean yourself up - let Jesus do that.   We are relaxed in attire but some people do like to dress up to worship in Trinity Hall.  You'll see a spectrum from t-shirts and jeans to business casual. In the summer, you might see shorts and flip-flops. Some who work the night shift at the hospitals may come in scrubs.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE TO GO?

Greeters will welcome you at the entrance.  If you have special needs, please let the greeters know; our facility is handicapped accessible and handicap spaces are provided in front of Trinity Hall.

DURING THE SERVICE-9:00AM

what is the worship service like?

The best way to answer this question is to come see it for yourself.  We don't fit into the normal categories, drawing from church history with modern verse-by-verse preaching of Scripture with application to live out the gospel in today's ever-changing world, and weekly communion.  Trinity's worship service is intended to connect Christians and non-Christians to God by engaging their imaginations to see holiness of God and the beauty of God's love for sinners.  Our pastors design the order of events to allow us to participate together, singing, reading aloud at certain times. There are moments of noise and silence.

If you grew up in the church, Trinity may feel different, but after a couple of services, people say they like the way the service is arranged.  If you did not grow up in the church, our pastors do their best to explain why we do what we do in worship.  We hardly have the market cornered on how to worship God, but we want to experience a sense of transcendence (God is grand, beautiful, and worthy of our utmost respect, for He is holy) and immanence (God is close, personal, intimate, and draws near to His people, for He is love).

WHAT IS YOUR MUSIC STYLE LIKE?

We sing a lot of hymns, many with updated tunes.  But wait... it's better than you think!  We want our songs to be theologically rich, yet singable. We are big on the congregation singing and measure the success of a song by how loud the congregation sings. Several highly talented musicians lead us with piano, guitar, a parish drum set, violin, and occasionally a clarinet, mandolin or trumpet. Our songs generally have an acoustic classical Americana feel.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?

During our worship service we provide nursery care for infants to age 3.  During the Passing of the Peace we invite children ages 4-5 to TrinityKids where they will hear an age appropriate lesson from God's Word before returning for Communion. We frequently (though not every week) have a Children's Sermon before we begin the main sermon, where the kids are invited to sit up front with the pastor as he presents a simplified sermon designed to prepare them to better understand the main sermon that follows. They are dismissed to return to their families after the Children's Sermon is over.

AM I REQUIRED TO DO ANYTHING?

Whether you have followed Jesus for a long time or you are new to the faith we encourage everyone to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable.

After the Worship Service

10:30AM – DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES FOR ALL AGES

We have discipleship classes  for all ages starting at 10:30am. The adult AM Discipleship Classes are highly interactive and indepth times of teaching God's Word.  They last from 10:30-11:15am.   If you're a parent, you can learn what your kids are doing in TrinityKids here. Trinity Youth meet in a small conference room at west end of Trinity Hall, next to the kitchen.

11:15AM – COFFEE & FELLOWSHIP

Every Sunday before the service we have a time of fellowship in the Commons. We provide coffee and snacks so feel free to jump in and help yourself. It’s a time to hang out, meet new people, and get caught up with one another.

AFTER THE SERVICE

We grow in community after the service.  Everything God calls his people to be can’t be done simply on Sunday morning.  A lot happens in our community groups as we show the love of Christ to the world around us.  Whether it’s getting together to watch the game, meeting new folks at the park, bringing a salad to community group, participating in a service project, or visiting one another in the hospital, we want to push back against the loneliness so many people—Christians and seekers alike—feel over the course of the week in Owasso & Tulsa.
